The Austin Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery at a mobile store. The incident occurred on Friday, February 7, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m. at the Metro PCS by T-Mobile located on 500 W. William Cannon Drive.

According to police reports, the suspect entered the store and asked for information about several Bluetooth speakers. Employees recognized him from a previous shoplifting incident in November 2024 involving similar items. During this recent encounter, the suspect attempted to steal multiple Bluetooth speakers by taking display hangers off the wall.

When an employee stood between him and the exit, he shoved her and struck her with merchandise, causing pain and minor visible injuries. The suspect then fled on foot heading eastbound on W. William Cannon Drive toward S. 1st Street.

Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact APD's Robbery unit at 512-974-5092 or submit tips anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
