The Austin Police Department is seeking assistance from the community in locating Jaime Tamariz, an 81-year-old man. Mr. Tamariz was last seen on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at approximately 7 p.m. in the 900 block of East 2nd Street.
According to the APD Missing Persons Unit, Mr. Tamariz has dementia and only speaks Spanish. Authorities are concerned about his safety and immediate welfare.
Anyone who sees Mr. Tamariz is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately or contact the APD Missing Person's Unit at 512-974-5250.
