The Office of Sustainability in Austin has officially changed its name to the Office of Climate Action and Resilience. This rebranding aims to better align with the organization's ongoing efforts to prepare for and respond to climate change challenges while promoting a sustainable future.

Despite the new name, the office assures that its core mission remains unchanged. "We remain committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving food access, and building community resilience," stated the office. The team will continue to be comprised of dedicated professionals familiar to those who have interacted with or observed their work in the community.

The office emphasizes the need for solutions that are bold, accessible, and forward-thinking as they address climate change realities. They express gratitude for existing partnerships and collaboration, which are crucial for advancing their initiatives.
