The Austin Police Department (APD) has arrested a suspect in connection with an aggravated robbery that occurred on February 2, 2025. The incident took place in the 1100 block of Shady Lane at approximately 8:45 p.m., where a French Bulldog named Freya was stolen.
According to the APD Robbery Unit, the victim was walking his two dogs when Raderrick Harvey approached him and asked about Freya. After the victim refused to hand over the dog, Harvey shot him in the foot and took Freya. During his escape, Harvey also dragged and ran over the second dog, causing minor injuries.
