Officers and Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (A/CTEMS) arrived on the scene and found an individual with injuries consistent with a stab wound. Despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim was later identified as Javier Antonio Navarro Quesada.

Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (A/TCEMS) arrived on the scene and located the victim, later identified as Julian Hernandez, on a bed in the bedroom. Life-saving measures were attempted before Julian was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 12:45 p.m.
The Austin Police Department (APD) Highway Enforcement Investigations unit has requested public assistance in locating a suspect connected to a hit-and-run crash that occurred on Sunday, September 24, 2023. The incident took place at approximately 7 p.m. at the intersection of Ohlen Road and Research Boulevard Service Road Southbound lanes. The crash resulted in serious injuries to an elderly victim.
