Michael McCaul, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas' 10th district, took to social media to discuss recent legislative efforts and achievements. Writing from his official account, McCaul aimed to inform constituents about his actions related to election security, healthcare for children, and the celebration of individual achievements within the community.

On April 10, McCaul emphasized the importance of election security by announcing his vote to pass the SAVE Act. He stated, "Every American deserves to know our elections are safe & secure when they go to the ballot box. Today, I voted to pass the SAVE Act to restore public confidence in our election system & close loopholes enabling fraudulent non-citizen voter registration."

In a post dated April 11, McCaul shifted focus to pediatric healthcare, advocating for the passage of the Give Kids A Chance Act. He expressed, "Kids like DJ inspire us all — and they deserve the same fighting chance as adults. To get them the best treatments, Congress must pass my Give Kids A Chance Act. Let’s give every kid a real shot at beating cancer."

Also on April 11, McCaul celebrated the achievements of a Texas resident named DJ, who was inducted into Texas law enforcement. He congratulated DJ, writing "Congrats DJ on being inducted into Texas law enforcement! Our Texas law enforcement officers are the best of the best. Thank you @TxDPS, @Austin_police, & others who came together to make DJ’s dreams a reality!"

Michael McCaul graduated from Trinity University in 1984 with a BA and earned a JD from St. Mary’s University, Texas, in 1987. He has served as a congressional representative since 2005, following his predecessor Lloyd Doggett. McCaul is originally from Dallas, Texas, born in 1962, and currently resides in Austin.
